Foghouse: A new way for wellness

It all begins with an idea.

Foghouse began in early 2025 when Stew Hutchinson (founder and CEO) purchased a sauna in San Francisco, CA. Mobile sauna culture had taken off due to the popularity in European countries who offered high heat sessions at pop up scenic locations. In an effort to share his love for sauna, fitness and getting friends together - a trailered sauna that fit in the driveway offered the perfect space. Alongside his brother Ben, they left their 9-5 to bring Foghouse to everyones driveway. Thanks to family, friends and all who share a passion to sweat - Foghouse was born.

Foghouse has two channels of distribution: hospitality partnerships and first responder rentals.

Hospitality businesses across the country differentiate their offerings and cater to wellness travelers with easily relocatable Foghouse saunas. Our partners participate in a revenue-share model, enabling them to monetize private sauna rentals as a unique guest amenity.

First responders rent Foghouse saunas at affordable prices to incorporate regular sauna therapy into their routine. Foghouse aims to keep this often thought of as a "luxury amenity”  easily accessible to all who serve to protect our communities —helping reduce stress on the job, promote recovery post-fire, and support long-term cardiovascular health. We understand there may be practical limitations—space, cost, permitting—but we’re committed to exploring how we might overcome these barriers. Our mobile units are a flexible solution that could be tested or implemented without major infrastructure changes.
